This
album wouldn't have existed but for an event 16 years ago that
changed the direction of my life. Like a river whose course is
altered, I had to slowly carve out a new path....I hadn't a clue
where I was heading but I'm glad to be still travelling.
Kev and I started out with nothing but raw talent and dreams. After the usual
begging free time in studios to demo some songs we finally, with the help of
some friends and the bank, got our own studio set up in our flat....Then we had
to learn how to use it!
This album is the end result of a lot of recording then re-recording, mixing
then re-mixing
of 10 of the tracks. Only 2worlds was an easy birth. Probably
because it was the last song to be recorded a couple of months after the
album was finished. It only got in there because we were having
difficulties tracking
down the other writer on ''Life Support'' and thought we might have to
drop it from the album! As the artwork had also been delayed,
we decided we might as
well
record another song that was itching to get out there anyway! Obviously
we did finally find our way to Lesley Duncan, the writer of ''Love
Song'. Thats
her
chorus you hear in ''Life Support''.
